Bariatric Clinical Coordinator
For over 10 years, Sameera was a dietician at North Shore/LIJ hospital and continued her career as a Physicians Assistant within the urology field. For the past two years, Sameera has been the Bariatric Clinical Coordinator for our program. As Coordinator, Sameera is involved with your final test reviews, an advisor and helps our patients with their clinical pathway to surgery. After your surgery, Sameera runs on of our Bariatric Support Groups, handles patient follow ups and lapband adjustments. She is an important member of your Team throughout your weight loss journey.
- Graduate of CW Post with a nutritional degree, Touro College for PA.

Gabe Bechnelli P.A.
Mr. Gabe Bechinelli has over 15 years experience as a Surgical Physician
Assistant. He has been with South Nassau Communities Hospital for the past six
years and is one of the most experienced P.A.'s nationwide with Lap-Band
adjustments and follow-ups. He is a graduate of St. John's University. |

Danielle Solomon R.D. CDE
Danielle has been a registered dietician for over 18 years. She has specialized with bariatric weight loss management including the OptiFast program. For the past 10 years, she has worked with our bariatric patients helping them along their weight loss surgery journey from the moment they arrive at our offices and throughout their journey helping them keep on track.

For over 22 years, Gail has worked in various aspects of the medical field. From pediatrics, rehab, internal medicine and for the past 8 years in Gastro/Bariatric surgery. Gail handles all aspects of the administrative pathway to surgery for our patients. |

Patient Liaison
Alison has been an administrator in the medical field with over 15 years experience. For the past 3 years, Alison has been at South Nassau Communities Hospital. As the patient liaison, Alison finalizes your insurance authorization. On a personal note, Alison is a post op LapBand patient and had the surgery 7 ½ years ago. |
