08/03/02 Linda B. Tampa, FL	I met my surgeon at an Obesity Seminar in Suffolk County recently. I was very impressed at his presentation and knowledge. I decided to call his office the next day and booked an appt. He is very kind, gentle, and humane. I never felt so comfortable with a doctor before. His staff are wonderful people who treat you with respect and bend over backwards for you when needed. I am very happy with my choice for a surgeon. I highly recommend Dr Vohra and his staff to everyone. Make an appt today, attend his peer groups and found out for yourself. He's worth the visit.
07/28/02 Linda B. Bay Shore, NY	I finally got to go to my 1st consult with the Dr's staff. One by one they introduced themselves. It seem to go as a series of mini interviews with each of them. On my 2nd consult, I did get the opportunity to meet with Dr Vohra. He was soft spoken, kind, and he seemed genuinely interested by my opinions and my fears of surgery. he spent alot of time with me to explain more in detail the progress & procedures. I was very comfortable with him. He impress me with his knowledge, his empathy, and he made feel like a human being and not like a lepor. It was a very nice meeting.

I have to say that the Dr. and his staff are very proffesional and careing and they take the timeto talk to you to find out if you have anymore questions even Dr. Vohra made sure that i left understanding everything completly what a nice man i recommend him to everyone !!!!!!!!

He cares more then 100% about his paitents. 2) My impression is still the same. 3) His office staff Peggy, Mary, Danielle and Gabe are the greatest people you can work with. They are there for you anytime and anyday. They also make your family feel very comfortable. 4) Nothing 5) Just that I don't think there isn't another dr. or staff you can trust and feel good about. 6) 100% 7) Yes. 8) He gets u to go to a meeting first so you can know all bout the surgry and then you meet with him in his office. There are also monthly meetings you go to and they are fun and inspireding. 9) 1-10 I give him a 15. 10) Both Great.
12/19/01 Angelika G. Far Rockaway, NY	My first impression of Dr. Vohra, was very impressive. He is very nice, and easy to talk to. He wasn't intimidating like some doctors can be. His smile and kind manor, made me very comforable. The office staff is very kind, patient and understanding. Dr. Vohra and Staff trained in CA. by Dr. Wittgrove Ac, and Clark GW, who did Carnie Wilsons surgery. Aftercare is extremely emphasized continually. You must know that your life with food will be a new and improved relationship. They are in the process of orginizing small group support sessions with a Psychologist. There is Nutritionist on staff to answer questions.

10/30/01 Lisa O. Baldwin, NY	Before my first meeting with Dr. Vohra, I asked a few other doctors in the area about him, and got only extremely positive feedback. Dr. Vohra himself has a very good connection with his patients. He gets to know you on a higher level than you might expect, he is caring, attentive and seems to be greatly in tune with each of his patients. Dr. Vohra's staff is excellent, also. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Very thorough, very kind. Dr. Vohra is the head of Laparoscopic Surgery at South Nassau Community Hospital in Oceanside, and like I said, I have heard from other doctors that he is the absolute best surgeon to have perform the roux en y laparascopically. Aftercare is highly emphasized by Dr. Vohra's team. Follow up visits post op are supplemented with a monthly support group meeting at the hospital. All possible risks were well addressed by Dr. Vohra and his staff. How would I rate Dr. Vohra? On a scale of one to ten, a ten. Both surgical competence and bedside manner are outstanding.
