Comments: My name is Philip and I have struggled with my weight all my life. I would gain weight and I would lose it, it was a real roller coaster. As I got older it got harder to lose the weight but I knew something needed to be done. I struggled with this decision to have the bariatric surgery for two years. It basically took two years for me to get over my ego thinking that I was not overweight.
My weight affected everything. I was on high blood pressure medicine, I was waking up tired with headaches and my feet would hurt all day long. After a few hours of being awake I felt I needed to go back to sleep, I was so tired and drained.
I walked in to Dr Vohra office to see if I was a candidate for the surgery. Of course, deep down inside, I knew I was a, but I was hoping that he was going to tell me I wasn't. But sure enough by the end of the meeting we had an appointment for surgery. Everyone in Dr Vohra's office was friendly and accommodating. They really took care of me and walked me through every step of the way.
My surgery and recovery was better than I expected. Now here I am six months later and down over 100 pounds. I wake up with tons of energy no more headaches or body aches. I am no longer on high blood pressure medicine and my blood work is amazing. I'm running 3 to 4 miles every three to four days and the days I'm not running. I am working out at the gym. I've never felt better in my life. I am so glad that I made the decision to get the surgery. It is a life changing experience and I wish I did it years ago
